Gayle has been in the instructional design and training field for over 15 years, working in the consulting groups at IBM and Deloitte, at the University of Illinois-Chicago, and at MediaOcean in New York City.

Gayle has a M.Ed. from UCLA.

Florida Starks is currently an Area Training Manager in charge of Business-Government Customer Operations and Vendor operations with Verizon Wireless. From 1993-2000, Starks worked with Ameritech Cellular where she was an Assistant Manager of Business and Learning Development and held a variety of sales and service leadership roles. Prior to joining Verizon, she was a Regional Account Manager and Trainer at Bencharge Financial.

Starks earned her BA in Human Resource Management from Lindenwood University. In 2010, she earned her Master’s in Adult Education Management from Strayer University. She will graduate from Capella University in March 2013 with a PhD in Leadership for Higher Education.

She is currently the Manager of design for management and leadership development programs at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. She has a history of cultivating environments of continuous learning & improvement with proven HR & OD expertise in the areas of recruitment and selection, policy development, technical training, change management, operational efficiency, performance management, & leadership and management development. Chrissy has a passion for excellence, which is reflected in her initiatives to improve people, systems and processes. She has worked on varied projects that span research and analysis, project management, systems testing and implementation, business process reengineering, grant writing, and building community and collaboration. With ASTD, Chrissy is the chair for the NE GA GIG and has been involved with that GIG since its inception a little over 5 years ago.

Senior Manager of Learning Technologies at AutoTrader Group, the premier automotive, web-media company, Cory Colton has a keen sense of how to best use technology to support learning. His industry-recognized team has used new technologies to support learning anywhere, any time on any device. The learning technologies team has presented at several conferences on their rollout of the My Learning mobile learning application for iPad and iPhone, and this year supported their Sales Training organization in deploying Fall Product training to 700 field employees. The initiative saved the company over $1 million in training costs.
